A Multidisciplinary Clinic Promoting Optimal Health & Wellness

Vona Davis, PMHNP
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

General Information:  This practice is part-time, and by appointment and referral only.   Therefore, it is ideal for individuals with flexible schedules, and other available supports (therapist/counselor, primary care provider, strong social network).  Clients best suited for this practice are highly motivated and committed to the pursuit of optimal health, wellness, and life satisfaction.

This practice is built on a genuine respect for each client as a once-in-a-universe being;  this is health care defined by a strengths and wellness-focused approach.  Vona’s heart-felt belief that clients deserve to reach their full potential, and that this potential includes a sense of inner peace and outer joy defines her work and collaboration with clients.

About Vona:  Vona is trained as a psychiatric/mental health nurse practitioner.  She maintains independent, autonomous prescribing licensure and rights through the State of Oregon, and federally through the DEA.  Vona has been trained in the art and science of psychopharmacology as well as the practice of behavioral psychotherapy at some of the nation’s most respected academic institutions, including University of California, San Diego School of Medicine, The Neuroscience Education Institute, University of Washington Behavioral Health Sciences Division and Harvard Medical School.  Her graduate education was completed at Oregon Health and Science University.

Additionally, she is trained as a life coach and has completed continuing education in this field at Harvard, and through the Institute for Life Coach Training.  She is currently pursuing master coach certification through the International Coaching Federation.

Vona is a dynamic and engaging health care provider, specializing in individualized, comprehensive and holistic approaches to mental health and wellbeing.  Her work is based on integrating the biological, psychological, social, and spiritual aspects of each individual client.  This co-creative approach is one in which clients and clinician are team-mates and equally engaged in the process of achieving a shared vision:  optimal health and actualization for clients, based on the unique understanding and application of values-based living, and intentional life design.
